Welcome to Banbury FM's home online!

Banbury FM was born in 2001 out of a dream to bring truly local community radio to our area.   We ran the first trial broadcasts in the town which proved to be amongst the most successful in the UK.   Since then many of our team have gone on to enjoy successful careers in the media industry.

As we celebrate the tenth anniversary of our first trial broadcast we believe the town is still under served by existing broadcasters.   With your help that might change as Banbury FM could now be awarded a community radio licence for our area...

 
   

LATEST NEWS:

To celebrate the tenth anniversary  of Banbury FM's first trial broadcast we rebroadcast the whole of our 2002 trial on-line during September and October 2011.   The phenominal response from local people showed there is still a need for a community focussed radio station in our town and Banbury FM should be that station.

Banbury FM will be remaining on-air on-line bringing new programming to Banbury in the run up to the advertisement of a new community radio licence.
